But I can get my services for less by hiring an individual...

We understand that you can hire an individual for less than what we may charge however, most individuals are not bonded or insured. If something gets broken or if that individual gets injured on your property they may not be covered and could possibly hold you responsible for their injuries.

Must I be at home when you clean my house?

The choice is yours. Most clients provide us with a key and/or a security code for home alarm systems.  If you prefer to be there we certainly don't mind. 

How do you protect my keys?

Your key will be kept in a fireproof safe along with any security alarm information that only the owner has access.  The key is given only to the team leader the day of your cleaning and it is returned after your home has been serviced. 

How many people will clean my home?

Typically we work in teams of two, one of whom is a Team Leader (supervisor).

 
What if I would like something cleaned that is not part of your house cleaning service?

Maid In Louisiana offers a wide variety of additional house cleaning service options to better suit your needs. (Some options are at an additional cost and all additional services must be confirmed with the office to properly schedule your cleaning time)

Do I need to provide my own house cleaning products?

Maid In Louisiana will always arrive at your home with our own cleaning products and equipment unless you request us to use products that you provide for us to use in your home. All of our products are environmentally-preferable and are safe for small children and pets. The only products we ask that you do provide is whatever product you use on laminate or hardwood floors.

Will I always have the same cleaning service team?

We make every effort to have the same cleaning service team in your home.

Are your house cleaning service teams trained and supervised?

Team members are trained before they're permitted to enter your home. Training continues as we learn about new products/methods and to reinforce prior training. Each team includes a Team Leader to see that cleaning tasks are correctly completed.

How do I pay for your residential cleaning services?

Payment is due at time of service. You may pay personal check*, money order or paypal**. If you aren't home during our first visit, we will ask you for the full estimated amount to be left on the agreed upon spot in a sealed envelope with Maid In Louisiana written on it. We do not allow our teams to handle cash at any point in time so please do not leave cash.  If you prefer to pay by paypal** go to our online payments tab. We no longer invoice residential clients so all services must be paid for in advance.

What are your rates for your house cleaning service?

Fees are based on the condition and size of the home.  Our staff will walk you through our cleaning processes and provide you with a price for a service that has been created to fit your specific needs. Our staff provides free, no obligation estimates for cleaning service right over the phone or via e-mail.

Is the work of your house cleaning service guaranteed?

Maid In Louisiana has a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you're unhappy with any area we've cleaned, just call within 24 hours and we'll come back and reclean the area in question free of charge with no questions asked.

 *Personal checks are accepted.Payment must be left at the time of service or services will not be performed and your cleaning will have to be rescheduled. There will be a $35.00 fee on all checks returned for non-sufficient funds and only money orders will be accepted after that point.
